THE BEADS This is just a mere sampling of , what I lovingly call, "my jewels'. I have categorized them for your convenience. I have so much more including freshwater and glass pearls, wood and other glass beads...too many to catalog here. I am constantly in search of unique beads and pendants. Swarovski Crystal World-renowned for its quality, sparkle, elegance and beauty! I use Swarovski Crystal in a lot of my creations. The added brilliance enhances the piece and can be worn with either a fancy or casual outfit.
Cloisonné Beads Cloisonné is an enameling technique in which thin wire partitions (called, cloisons) are filled with enamel. This technique is very old, and was practiced in ancient Byzantium and China. First, delicate strips of copper wire are bent to create a design, then are placed and soldered onto the bead's surface. Millefiori ("Thousand Flowers") Glass Beads Millefiori is a glasswork technique which produces distinctive decorative patterns on glassware. Millefiori is a combination of the Italian words "mille" (thousand) and "fiori" (flowers). As you can see, it appears that there are, indeed, many flowers within each glass bead!
